Backless dresses

Another all time favorite! I have a wide back and broad shoulders with a narrow waist, so I have a hard time finding dresses that gives room for my back but shows my waist. Therefore (along with the fact that I love the look!) I often choose backless dresses. Sexy, sultry – and I love that they often are long and show no cleavage, but once you turn around – TA-DA!

whowhatwear.com has an amazing gallery showcasing the backless dresses (they are back!) on the red carpet. But before you click away from this blog, here they are:

and a very low-res image that I found of myself in mine… without showing the back… :(

Retro Bikini’s

As summer is here, I’m looking trough my selection of bikini’s from last summer – realizing I’m due for an update. Last summer I wore surf/skate inspired bikini’s with a traditional triangle or Brazilian cut. This year – I’m ready to try the full swimsuit (got one from spanx – why don’t get a little extra push and tuck if you can?!?) along with a retro high-waist bikini. They were all over the runways this spring along with ads in fashion magazines, and even though I think they are super cool – it takes confidence, and a lot of sit-ups to pull it off! What do you think? Love them or hate them?

Behind and in front

My sincere apologies to my fascinatingly committed readers. It blew my mind to see that people check in on a daily basis, even if I haven’t done the same. To whomever you are, thank you!

I had two big shoots back to back for upscale large client with big budgets, and that kept me away from this blog – even though it would have been much smarter of me to follow through with my mission to follow the process and to get behind the scene images… One of them should be finalized in post next week, and I will post the images here as soon as they are done.

Then – I got amazing representation from Agent Lindsey Howard at Avant Talent, who scored me a super fun shoot for a lookbook. We shot with a beautiful thoroughbred, and I have posted some of the images here – even though they haven’t been tweaked in Photoshop yet and are far from what they will be when done. It was fun to watch the stylist work her dresses, accessories etc as I was now completely disconnected from the job as a stylist. She was amazing!

Tomorrow I have another shoot modelling for a leather jacket company called Q40, and I will try to take some behind the scenes pictures of that…
