Trying to find the right dress for the fashion shoot I’m producing and styling. The most classical cut you can imagine, black, strapless gown with sheen but structure in the skirt. And a pair of sandals with medium to high heel, black as well. After hitting Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Loehmans, Nordstroms Rack, Windsor, Ross (you never know) and all small boutiques at corners all over LA you can think of, I’m blown away on how hard that is to find! A had no idea how much bling and “uniqueness” designers are using these days- everyone is being a bit too creative for my personal style and need. What I thought would be the easiest of jobs taught me a good lesson. There is a style for everybody out there. And what you find won’t necessary be at the rack so not have a time frame that allows shipping is challenging…
